Deceased Buffalo Police Officer Reached His Goal, But Needs Your Help to Reach His 2nd Goal
This post is respectfully about a stellar Buffalo Police Officer, Domingo Santiago, who lost his life to Multiple Sclerosis. However, despite his passing, he didn't transition without expressing his last wish. This post is also about the person Domingo shared his wish with, and that's Domingo Santiago's' step-daughter, Elizabeth Santiago.
If it weren't for Elizabeth loving her dad so much and exposing his efforts, I would not be writing this, because without Elizabeth, how would we ever be introduced to Domingo Santiago? Having lost my Mom recently, I can relate to how much Elizabeth wants the world to know how great her Dad was doing everything within her power to make sure that happens. Her love for her dad and diligence resulted in Domingo Santiago's last wish come true. Domingo had wished for his painting of the legendary music artists "Sting" to be delivered to Sting. It was 2016 then and that was Santiago's last wish.
Four years later, Elizabeth posted this (click link below) on the 'Humans of New York' Facebook Page and within an hour, according to the WGRZ News report. Sting's daughter, Mickey Sumner
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED:
Elizabeth was able to satisfy her Dad's ultimate wish in life
Elizabeth Santiago is not finished yet, however. With the help of Sting's daughter Mickey, Elizabeth set up a Fund Raiser Page on behalf of her Dad, Domingo Santiago. The goal is $100,000 and you can help. Domingo Santiago died after a bout with MS, so it's fitting that all proceeds from the fund-raiser will go to benefit the National MS Society in the fight against MS, making Domingo Santiago a Hero.
