A viral video of Da Baby allegedly slapping a woman in the club prior to his event in a Florida venue circulated this week and met with outrage. On Friday March 13th a woman by the name of Tyronesha Laws filed a lawsuit resulting from the assault which she states she sustained an abrasion on her cheek from. The circulating videos shows a person shoving, maybe hitting the "Suge" artist in the face with a phone, which he claims the flash prevented him from seeing it was a woman behind it when he reacted physically. Da Baby did not carry out his scheduled performance and was boo'd from the club. He initially offered $10,000 to anyone who could offer footage of a better angle of the incident, then later apologized via Instagram.

Jay Electronica has FINALLY dropped a new album! "A Written Testimony" is a whole vibe and we got a bonus feature throughout the project, none other than Jay Z. The word play between the artists and other features including Travis Scott and The Dream creates the perfect mood and is in my opinion, what the music world needed especially in today's environment. Despite backlash that this is technically a collaboration album vs. a solo project I'm here for it and think we'll be hearing more from Jay Electronica in the near future.
