Recall Alert: Beverage Poses Serious Threat To New Yorkers
There is another major recall that affects New York, and this one is pretty serious. I write about food recalls a lot, but I've never heard of one quite like this before. If you shop at CVS, you need to check your refrigerator or pantry asap! Before we get to this recall, there are two other recalls I need to warn you about. Two different brands of ice cream are being recalled in New York State.
Two Ice Cream Recalls Hits New York Again Serious Health Risks
First up, the Rich Ice Cream Co. of West Palm Beach, Florida, has issued a recall for a variety of ice cream products, according to the FDA. The products at the center of the recall include Chocolate Crunch Cake Bars, Cool Watermelon Bars, Cotton Candy Twirl Bars, Crumbled Cookie Bars, Fudge Frenzy Bars, Rich Bars, Orange Cream Bars, Savagely Sour Blue Raspberry Bars, Savagely Sour Cherry Bars, and Strawberry Shortcake Bars. The affected lot numbers are 24351 through 25156. More than 110,292 cases of the Rich Ice Cream Co.'s various ice cream bars may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Then, shortly after the Rich Ice Cream recall, Tropicale Foods of Ontario, California, issued a recall of its Helados Mexico and La Michoacana products. The ice cream bars contain milk, a known allergen, which is not listed on the packaging.

This is wild! If you shop at CVS and recently bought High Noon, you need to return it. High Noon issued a recall for two production lots of its Beach Variety 12-pack. Some packs are labeled as CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE Energy Drink but contain vodka seltzer-filled cans. The silver-lid cans were distributed in New York, as well as Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin between July 21 and 23, 2025, per Newsweek. A High Noon representative told the news outlet,
"High Noon is voluntarily recalling a limited number of High Noon Beach Variety Packs due to a labeling error from our can supplier. We are working with the FDA, retailers and distributors to proactively manage the recall to ensure the safety and well-being of our consumers."
If you purchased one of the affected 12-packs, please return to CVS or email consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com for refunds.
