Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Is Rolling Through New York
While the current weather patterns may not make you feel like it, winter is coming to the Empire State, and the holidays are on the way with it. So, if you're ready to deck the halls with boughs of holly and fill the air with yuletide cheer, then something that will be rolling into New York will help you get in the mood.
If you're into holidays and trains, the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern railroad is bringing back a fan favorite for its 26th year.
The Holiday Train Is Going To Roll Into The Empire State
Historic railroads Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern are going to help us celebrate the holidays in epic fashion. Their famed Holiday Train will steam down the Hudson River through the Adirondack Mountains in New York on its way to Albany and other parts of the Capitol region.
The Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern Holiday Train will tour parts of Canada and the United States starting November 21, 2024, and will run until December 20, 2024.
CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation. Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $24.3 million and collected approximately 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.

The Holiday Train, which is fully decked out in holiday decorations and illuminated with awesome light displays, is used as the home base in each city it visits, where holiday concerts and food drives are hosted. The stops are free to attend, but people are encouraged to donate non-perishable food and other goods for the betterment of the community.
