As we slowly inch closer to the end of the winter weather season in the Empire State, Mother Nature wants to make sure that the people of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and even Massachusetts have a quick reminder of how powerful she is.
A major winter storm warning has been issued for a large chunk of the East Coast, with the potential of dropping several feet of snow on the Big Apple and surrounding areas. And while there may be some interesting snow totals on the way for New York City, some of your friends who live in other parts of the state have a few tips and suggestions for you to be able to deal with the snow and cold that's sure to make your day-to-day life a little more problematic.

While parts of the tri-state area are expected to get a few inches of snow, places like Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse call that Tuesday, and as we real New Yorkers go about our everyday lives with ease, we wish you the best of luck dealing with the little bit of white stuff you're going to get.
