A white freshman student at the University of Hartford has been arrested after weeks of contaminating her black roommate’s living space trying to get her to move out. Brianna Brochu was arrested and charged with 3rd degree criminal mischief and and 2nd degree breach of peace for the things that she did to Chennel “Jazzy” Rowe.
Rowe spent a lot time in the university health clinic because she couldn’t figure out why she kept getting sick, suffering from sore throats and bacterial infections. Initially Rowe says that the University wouldn’t do anything about the allegations and threatened to remove her from campus if she was caught talking about what happened to her.  So she took to Facebook Live to express what happened to her and now that it has gone public, the university is changing their tune.  The evil roommate has been charged and she has also been expelled from the university! The college has since released a statement saying that they will not tolerate such behaviors and fully support Jazzy and will cooperate with the police's investigations.
Jazzy said on Facebook , “As a young African American woman I don’t want to become another statistic. When it comes to college incidents/crimes and racial cases justice needs to be served,” Rowe wrote. She said when she told people what happened they couldn’t believe it, thinking it was “straight out of a movie scene.”
