The City Girls Are Coming To Upstate New York

2022 is really the year for some amazing concerts, events, and shows in Western New York.

Officials from the Great New York State Fair recently did their part to add to that list of great shows coming to the area with their recent announcement of the City Girls making their debut at the Great New York State Fair.

Rap duo City Girls will make their Great New York State Fair debut with an 8 p.m. Chevy Park show on Sunday, September 4. Miami-based Yung Miami and JT are known for their single “Act Up” and their contribution to Drake’s hit “In My Feelings.”

The City Girls had been buzzing in south Florida for years, but the duo from Miami got their big break on the national music scene after being featured in Drake's hit single "In My Feelings".

Since that opportunity, Jatavia Johnson and Caresha Brownlee (aka JT and Yung Miami) dropped multiple mixtapes, two studio albums, and several chart-topping singles. The City Girls also have earned 2 Gold and 3 Platinum-certified plaques from the RIAA.

The City Girls are due to hit the Chevy Park Stage at the New York State Fair on Sunday, September 4, 2022.
