- Cans For Christmas Food Drive
It's not necessarily "fun," but it does a lot of good. We're looking donations for our Cans For Christmas Food Drive. We have hosted Cans For Candy for around eight years at the William Emslie YMCA, collecting donations for FeedMore WNY. Our Cans for Christmas food drive is a play on our classic. We're collecting non-perishable food items to donate to St. Luke's Mission of Mercy, located at 325 Walden Ave, Buffalo, NY 14211. If you are doing some grocery shopping this weekend and can pick up some extra items - like pasta, peanut butter, canned meats, canned vegetables, or other shelf-stable items, we would greatly appreciate it! -Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
I'm old enough to remember when WBLK hosted our own Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and we had everyone skating with their sweaters. Good times! Tonight, there is an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at VUE Rooftop Lounge, located 210 Franklin Street, Buffalo, NY 14202. THe party kicks off at 7 pm and runs until 10 pm. It will cost you $40, but the price includes hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and aa signature cocktail. Get more details here.
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Tomorrow, Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1 pm to 3 pm, Santan will be at Kenyon's at 9700 Transit Road in Williamsville. There will be free pics with Santa and gass prices will be $1.99 per gallon while he is onsite. Get there early as the first 100 kids will get a free gift bag!
