Chris Brown’s Alleged Assault Victim Filed a Lawsuit for Money She Said She Didn’t Want
A nightclub attendee who claimed that Chris Brown assaulted her, tearing the ligaments in her knee, is now taking the singer to court -- even though she initially said she didn't want money and every single source (including the nightclub owner) claims she's a crazy person who's obsessed with Brown.
A while back, Deanna Gines told TMZ she didn't want cash -- just an apology. But since she didn't get any mea culpas, she's now filed a lawsuit citing "battery, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress."
So how much money does she want? According to the suit, a minimum of $25,000.
She contends that back in June, Breezy injured her when he intentionally shoved her to the floor at an Anaheim, Calif. nightclub. But the club's owner says Gines is lying and that she hurt herself trying to get close to Chris that night.
In a statement, he said in part, “We know that the claimant was trying to jump on stage and security was doing their job by keeping people away from Chris. There was no way that he could have touched her, his section was roped off and he had heavy security surrounding him ... Witnesses state that she was persistently trying to rush Chris. She was eventually removed from the club.”
