Cheektowaga Man Faces Murder Charge After Fatal Beating

Mental health is a real issue and we as a community must deal with it head on. It also seems to be the go to defense for someone who commits a heinous crime.

According to WIVB, Cody Jeffords, 21, is accused of beating Justin Vanderwalker, 19, to death; the dispute is allegedly over Cody's ex girlfriend. Vanderwalker was at the ex's girlfriends house when Cody allegedly showed up and started to beat the victim.

So sad because two young lives will never be the same after an incident that never had to happen in the 1st place. A relationship is never worth your freedom or life. My prayers go out to the families involves another life taken to soon.
