There has been a lot of news on the Buffalo Bills' front lately, some of it bad, but luckily for us, most of it is good.

Not only did the hometown team pull out a key victory on Monday, October 14, 2024, against the New York Jets in New Jersey, but the Bills also made a key trade that will bring a veteran wide receiver who knows how to make plays to Western New York with Amari Cooper.

Now, there is a lot of talk about the team adding to the ownership group, which should go a long way toward improving the team's standing in the league.

According to Sportico, three famous Toronto sports stars are in talks with the Pegula family to purchase a minority stake in the Buffalo Bills.

It appears that NBA Hall of Fame players Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter, along with US Men's National Soccer Team Player and current FC Toronto Striker Jozy Altidore, are in talks with the Bills to buy up to 25% of the team. Sportico currently estimates the Bills are valued at $5.08 billion.

Earlier this year, the Bills did publicly announce that they had hired a company to explore the idea of selling a minority, non-controlling stake in the team, and now it looks like those talks are, in fact, happening.

This purchase by Carter, McGrady, and Altidore would make sense since the trio is very familiar with Buffalo, having spent significant time just 90 miles away in Toronto. Since we already know that Carter and McGrady are Bills fans, this would help others see what we already know: the Buffalo Bills are America's Team.
