You’ve Got Another Boating Option At Buffalo’s Canalside
Buffalo's near-perfect position on the Great Lakes gives Western New Yorkers plenty of options if they want to get outside and enjoy one of the world's largest bodies of fresh water. From beaches to boating and fishing to floating, taking advantage of the water in the 716 is among the best things that come from living in the region.
You can see a lot of that great activity happening right at Canalside in downtown Buffalo. The terminus of the historic Erie Canal has tons of things for you to do if you want to be near the water, and thanks to a new partnership between the folks at Canalside and the Buffalo Maritime Center, you have another great option if you want to have a little fun downtown.
There are tons of fun things to do along the recreated canals at Canalside, including the ability to rent all sorts of paddle boats to zip around the water. Now you can add flamingo boats to the list of options.
Just like the Hoyt Lake cousins from Delaware Park, the big pink paddle boats are available to rent while you're enjoying the fun that comes with warmer weather in Buffalo.
