You may not realize it, but social media has gained a lot of power in communities around the world. It has the ability to educate us, placate us, and rally us when things go a way that you don't want them to go.

That is exactly what has happened over the last day or so after a video of a woman being beaten inside a Buffalo gas station and convenience store went viral.

According to witnesses on the scene, it's being reported that during the evening hours on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, a woman was inside the Mandela Market at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Broadway placing some sort of order for food. After a disagreement, the patron and several members of the stores staff got into a fight which allegedly lead to the store staff beating the woman with some sort of stick or broom handle.

In the viral video, you can see what appears to be a woman cowering in the corner while several men surround her with some objects in thier hands. It was another store patron who broke up the fight before they were kicked out the store.
