Buffalo Small Businesses Can Still Get Additional Support
Small Businesses are on the minds of many people here in Buffalo and all around Western New York, as it should, supporting local small businesses in our community helps our economy, and it helps people that you may know personally.

Mayor Byron Brown is reminding Buffalo residents that the " Downtown Dollars" give-a-way initiative is still going on. There are resources available to assist small businesses that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a program for businesses looking to expand for outdoor dining (SBSDI), which is the Small Business Social Distance Initiative.
To qualify for the current programs there are some guidelines that you will have to adhere to. Businesses must also obtain a permit for outdoor heaters, and that can be done by contacting the office of fire prevention at 716 851-5333 ext 750.
The City of Buffalo is continuing to be responsive to the needs of small businesses here in our community. In my opinion, it's good to know that businesses that we support here on an everyday basis, have resources available to them so that they can be around to serve the community. I know of some small business owners that have benefited from some of the programs here in the city of Buffalo.
