Buffalo Public Libraries are Re-opening Today
Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries are reopening today.
The Central Library and all the branches within the the City of Buffalo are open today, according to a press release I received via email. The libraries will require people to adhere to social distancing protocols. All staff and visitors will be required to have face coverings. In addition, there will be "spacing dots" placed in certain areas to keep visitors 6-feet apart.
The libraries will be using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cleaning and disinfecting guidelines. All borrowed materials will be quarantined for 72-hours prior to being borrowed again. Meeting rooms will not be available for use. If you have questions or need to reach someone at the Library, you can contact them via website at www.BuffaloLib.org, call 716-858-8900, email to askus@buffalolib.org.
