A 22-year-old man lost his life this weekend, after a fatal shooting in Buffalo. According to WKBW, the Buffalo Police Department is still searching for a suspect in the homicide. WIVB reports that the victim was driven to Erie County Medical Center in a private vehicle on Saturday night, just before midnight. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

This year has seen an increase in shootings here in Buffalo, according to WGRZ,

Since 2019, calls for shots fired are up 84 percent, the number of shooting victims are up 96 percent and the number of murders involving a shooting are up 24 percent.
