Buffalo Mayor Brown Agrees to Wager with KC Mayor for Bills Game
In a video released on his Facebook page, City of Buffalo Mayor Bryon Brown accepted a bet against Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Quinton Lucas.
According to the press release issued by the Buffalo Mayor's office, Mayor Brown was happy to accept the wager and looks forward to savoring the victory while sitting with a large plate of wings and several staffers from La Nova's pizzeria on Buffalo's west side.
However, nobody circle's the wagons like the Buffalo Bills! Because, this year, the road to the Super Bowl will go through Buffalo!
-Byron Brown, Mayor of Buffalo, New York
If the Buffalo Bills beat the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City, Missouri Mayor Quinton Lucas will send Buffalo an order of Barbeque from LC’s Bar-B-Q, which is located just a couple of miles from Arrowhead Stadium, on Blue Pkwy, in Kansas City.
In the small chance that the Bills happen to lose the game, Mayor Brown agreed to send some wings from La Nova's to Kansas City.
You can feel the entire region coming down with Bills fever. From local stores taking Kansas City products off of its shelves, to local businesses promising to close early for their staff to be able to watch the game, you can all but guarantee we're in for a great game between two AFC powerhouses.
Just in case you forgot, Buffalo spanked KC in their last meeting on October 10, 2021, beating the Chiefs by the score of 38 to 20.
