According to WGRZ, the team will have the names of unarmed black men and women killed by police officers on their helmets as well as social justice messages. Many of the Buffalo Bills players have been vocal during the offseason about the many events involving the social unrest in the United States, since the death of George Floyd, on May 25th in Minneapolis.

I think this country is going to come out of this as a better country and were going to continue to learn and grow. As far as racial injustices, there's no room for racism.

said, Josh Allen according to WRGZ.

The national attention to social justice is what's needed to affect change, in my opinion, the more celebrities, and people in places were they have a platform to help keep the spotlight on this issue, the more effective the message will be.

The Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins said, according to WGRZ

Black men are dying at a rate of endangered species... to be endangered... until you're a black man in America, you wont know what that feels like.
