Computers for Children and Mission Ignite have partnered with East Community High School for the Schools to Home Program.

This initiative will provide hardware, software, and internet training for  9th students and their families. Once the training is complete, participants will be able to take home a FREE computer for their household.  Students will also receive four years of FREE sprint mobile WIFI hotspot.

The training is only 6 hours over 3 sessions. Families will attend 2 hours per sessions that will introduce parents and children to basic computing. To qualify participants must live on the East side of Buffalo and have a 9th grade student in Buffalo Public Schools.

The computer hardware and software will be explored through hands-on labs. Web-based educational supports, internet safety and financial tools will also be shared. Perfect attendance to all sessions will award each family with a desktop system.
