Buffalo Bills Player Suspended For Throwing a Punch After Game
The Buffalo Bills are 2-0 after a huge 41-7 win over the non-division rival Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
The Bills were outstanding on both sides of the ball, including special teams. After the game, the talk was all about the play of the Bills on the field but a shock came across the NFL wire, about something that transpired when the game ended and as teams were walking off the field.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL has suspended Bills offensive lineman Bobby Hart one game.
The reason for the suspension is due to Hart, according to the memo sent out by the league, seeking out a Titans player as teams headed towards the end zone tunnel and at one point swinging a punt with a closed fist. That fist struck the head of a Titans coach who was attempting to stop the confrontation.
There was no word of this happening after the game in either head coach’s press conference, nor did it make the rounds on Twitter, so this comes as a surprise to many.
Hart will miss the game on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and not eligible to return until week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens.
