It looks like there is another summer event series to add to your to-do list with the 2022 Black Restaurant Week returning for its 5th year and I hope you have your appetite ready because there are a lot more options this year.

Presented by the Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals, a non-profit group dedicated to supporting community, diversity, and entrepreneurship in Western New York; this year's Black Restaurant Week is featuring some of the best Black-owned restaurants Restaurants, Food Trucks, and Catering Services in Western New York. ~Festivities begin on Sunday, June 12, 2022, and run through Sunday, June 19, 2022.

This year the YPs have also expanded the number of vendors to also include Juiceries, Bakeries, Coffee and Confectionery Shops, Meal Prep Services, and more.

The variety of options will ensure that there is something for everyone to partake in this year.

This year's Black Restaurant Week features more than 50 different eateries. Some of the fan favorites include Doctor Bird’s Rasta-Rant, Freddy J’s BBQ, Ike & BG’s Rib House, Luxor Steak & Lobster, Solo Eats, The Groove Lounge, and more.
