The Buffalo Bills will open up the home schedule of the 2022 season against the Tennessee Titans this Monday night.

The game, which is the first game of a double-header on ESPN, is going to have a lot of Western New Yorkers converging on Highmark Stadium. The home opener last season against the Pittsburgh Steelers caused maybe the worst traffic delays we've ever seen for a Bills home game and that's due to fans showing up who didn't have tickets.

It's reasonable to assume the same happens here, considering it's a night game and there's so much hype behind the Bills right now.

You probably know by now that both Orchard Park Central Schools and Frontier Schools will be giving their students a half-day on Monday, due to the Bills game.

That story has now gotten the attention of sports media mega-giant, Barstool Sports.

Barstool Sports let their 4+ million followers on Twitter know that Western New York schools were doing this.

The big reason why this is being done is because of traffic.

This will be a 7:15 pm game and lots around the stadium will open at 3:15 pm. Fans will start going by early afternoon and having all those busses try to navigate through those crowds would be an absolute nightmare.

The right call was made here, but it's also fueling the stereotype that we're a crazy football town. They are right though, the Bills are a religion in Western New York and it's a stereotype we are living up to.
