It seems like there is not enough bread to go around now-a-days, especially when a group of artist get together and file a class action lawsuits.

A complaint being led by Alki David and the Justice For Artist Coalition, accuses CNET and CBS Interactive of maintaining a criminal operation of distributing peer-to-peer file sharing and DRM removal software.

David thinks, because CBS has not been held accountable for their actions, that it’s his responsibility to come to the rescue of all the artist out there. I personally think it’s the responsibility of the artist to make sure their business is up to par, not a 3rd parties.

Artist that have fell victim to this include Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg , Ludacris, Madonna, Britney Spears, Slick Rick, Ron Brows, Sugar Hill Music, Pretty Ricky, Dough E Fresh, and H-Town to name a few.
