Amherst teen arrested for making threats to Sweet Home MS

An Amherst teen was arrested for making threats against Sweet Home Middle School.

The 13-year-old was arrested after allegedly making threats to Sweet Home Middle School, according to WGRZ. The incident happened yesterday (Dec. 12). Amherst Police and school administrators investigated, and the student is being charged with 'Making a Terroristic Threat', a class D felony. The teen was arrested and will face his charges in Erie County Family Court soon.

My Thoughts: I hope this young person takes this seriously. We have had too many school shootings, so incidents like this worry me. I often wonder if this person might become angrier and plot a mass shooting to get vengeance. I hope it was all just an ignorant one-time thing and not something that escalates later!
