AMC Theaters (short for American Multi-Cinema), owned by AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc., is undoubtedly proud to be the largest movie theater chain in the world and has the largest United States theater market share ahead of Regal and Cinemark Theaters, according to Wikipedia.

AMC Theaters are re-opening 100 of its locations across the United States this Thursday, August 20 (strategically one day before Regal?) and will also be celebrating their 100th anniversary on the same day. The anniversary celebration is affording patrons 15-cent tickets--for one day only, on August 20th.

Now before you get all excited I have to tell you that I went to the AMC website to check on movie times for this Thursday, August 20, at the AMC Theaters in or around Buffalo and 2 came up on the site:

Upon checking the AMC website and these particular locations in Buffalo, there are no movie times available, but that may change by this Thursday -or- Buffalo is not one the 100 AMC locations scheduled to open Thursday with .15 cent movie tickets. I hope that's not the case because I'm looking forward to it.  I also tried calling, by the way, but got no physical person to get more info from.  More than likely you can call this week prior to Thursday, August 20, for more info.
