Disturbing Ads From ‘Black Swan’ Director Spotlight Perils of Meth Use [VIDEOS]

‘Black Swan’ and ‘Requiem for a Dream’ director Darren Aronofsky knows a thing or two about psychological thrillers. Now he’s applying those skills to a creepy new set of ads in an effort to discourage the use of methamphetamines.

The four no-holds-barred commercials Aronofsky directed for The Meth Project highlight some of the lesser-known side-effects of the drug such as sores, violence, prostitution and mental breakdowns. Three of the 30-second spots are currently airing in Idaho, Arizona and Colorado.
