A student in Lackawanna has been arrested for bringing a loaded gun to school!

State Gun Buyback Program Held In New Jersey Churches

The student at Baker Hall School in Lackawanna allegedly brought a loaded gun to school, according to WGRZ! The 20-year-old student was arrested by Lackwanna Police after a small .22 caliber weapon was found by school's metal detector and routine bag check.

Devonte Ridgeway, the student who was arrested, told police he'd recently been shot at and had the gun for protection. Ridgeway, who is in ECHC on $20,000 bail, is facing two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
