Vice President Mike Pence had a fly land on his head! And even though the issues should have been front and center, most of the Twitter world was obviously distracted by the buzzing pest that hounded the candidates.

Why is it that when there is a fly in the house, it also becomes a huge distraction? Flies always seem to appear at the worst possible time and there is no doubt that the first person to see it will call it out. "Ugh, there is a fly in the house" is the normal response.

With little boys in the house, chasing the fly around becomes a fun and easy game to play. Until the fly lands on something fragile and you have to warn them not to smash it. The only thing worse is when you are lying in bed, trying to sleep and the buzz sounds from the fly in the room keeps you awake!

The debate on Wednesday was the first and only time we will see the Vice President and his opponent on the same stage prior to the election on November 3rd.
