Spanking In School – Know Thyself Community Survey

Back in the day spanking in school was as normal as reading a book. Of course I’m talking about the 70’s and 80’s when times were a little different from what they are now. In fact, when I was growing up if you got out of line and Ms. Barbara the next door neighbor saw you misbehaving she would get that butt and then when you got home there was another butt spanking on the way.

With all of the out-of-control youth in today’s society, have we lost touch with what it really takes to discipline our children? There are parents today that are either afraid of their children or afraid what the authorities will do if they find out that a child has been disciplined with a spanking by a parent.

Has the (school) system been set up so that we may fail? Just think about it, back in the day there was never a problem with corporal punishment at home or at school. So why change things?
