Born and raised in Tulsa Oklahoma, Chris Reynolds knew early in life that his love for music and his family’s involvement in the entertainment industry would lead him in the same direction. During his senior year of high school in 1982, he landed his first job as a weekend air personality on KXOJ. He continued to work in radio while attending college. In 1986, Chris took up residence in Los Angeles where his broadcasting career continued at Stevie Wonders KJLH, where he polished his deliver and gained his major market experience. After a successful run in Los Angeles, his next stop was Houston and KMJQ, where he became the Music Director and host of the highly popular Quiet Storm program. His smooth delivery and ability to communicate with the listeners made him a wanted talent in other parts of the country. In 1991, he was offered an opportunity to become the Music Director and “Quiet Fire” host of Urban AC Magic 95.9 in Baltimore Maryland. While doing a one week promotion and broadcasting his evening show from Montego Bay, Jamaica at Sandals Resort called “Quiet Fire” couples by the Bay; Chris met his lovely wife Andrea, they have two wonderful children Christen and Caleb. They moved to Dallas, where his duties as “Night Moods” host and Music Director continued for about three years. Chris’ first Program Director job came in 1998 at WDZZ in Flint, Michigan. Where he spent 5 years leading the station to some] of its best ratings ever! In 2003, he was offered an opportunity to move to Buffalo and program WBLK.

They were considered a funk outfit that did this very smooth funk release in 1978 called “Riding High”.
