Missy Elliott Shows of Her New Physique & New Artist In NYC [VIDEO]

Missy Twitter

The 43 yr old creative, innovative singer, rapper Missy Elliott can add “Slim & Trim” to her description after recently losing 70 lbs!

Missy Elliott, who was posing with her hands on her sleek waist, posted this pic on Twitter after ripping the runway stage at Alexander Wang’s H&M Fashion show.

Some bloggers suggest her dramatic weight loss could be a result of her battle with Graves disease, a rare thyroid disorder that causes weight fluctuation. But Missy shut that rumor down on Twitter with this post.

Yes Missy is yet another celeb who is on that #HustleForHealth !!

@QueenOftheNaija my weight loss has nothing to do with @gravesdisease actually I decided to start eating healthy because healthy is better

Speaking of slimming down, check out Missy’s Mini-Me aka New Artist Sharaya J. She’s fun & funky just like Missy Elliott.

Sharaya’s “Banji Movement” encourages people, and artists like herself, to embrace uniqueness and originality. The acronym BANJI stands for Be Authentic Never Jeopardize Individuality. I lOVE that!!

According to Sharaya J she looks up to superstars like TLC, Aaliyah, Biggie, Wu-Tang Clan, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson and more.

She’s gotten a lot of recognition in the dance industry, working with the likes of Diddy, Rihanna, Alicia Keys as well as great choreographers like Laurianne Gibson, Fatima Robinson and Jamaica Craft, so Sharaya is no stranger to the spotlight.

I think she’s super duper fly!! Especially like that “Shut it down” track at the end of the video!!

What do you think about Missy’s New Look & New Artist?
