Lil’ Wayne Embarrassed By 10-Year Old Rapper

As I sit here and write this blog this morning, I think back to about 3 years ago when we decided to change the positioning statement of the radio station from “#1 For Hip Hop and R&B” to “The People’s Station, 93.7 WBLK.”

Our community here in Buffalo and around this country is faced with so many challenges as it relates to people of African descent that I felt something needed to be done since we are the voice of the community. I was fortunate enough to have had an open mind when I stumbled into the knowledge and consciousness of our historical beginnings. The time is now for all of us to understand that our purpose for existing is to raise the level of consciousness of the people and our community. It is a collective effort that we all must involve ourselves in so that we can begin to awaken each other of who we really are and that is Queens and Kings and one cannot survive without the other on this planet!

Now we have a 10-year old little queen who is being instilled with her truth and understands and knows who and what she is and how Lil’ Wayne needs to be called out for the negative vibes that he is placing into the conscious of a people that are asleep. She recognizes his lyrics and compares them to her understanding of who we are as descendents of Nile Valley civilization.

This is why we all should “Know Thyself” this 10-year old surely does! Will Lil’ Wayne respond? You know he has a young daughter as well; does his degrading of women refer to her also?
