Meet July 5th's Winner, Sarah Medina!!
Sarah works at one of Buffalo's busiest public schools as a typist in the main office, helping make sure things run smoothly for the staff and especially our youth. She is mom to one beautiful daughter. Sarah not only has a full-time job, she also is a makeup artist/face-painting job Sarah says, "I am a Buffalo native with 100% love for my city!"

Michelle is the mother of 3 wonderful boys and works everyday to make sure they're good! She is a driver for Head Start, a substitute teacher her my sons' school and a RHA, working with people with disabilities. Meet June 21st's Winner, Simone Webb!!
Simone is leading a fashion movement in Buffalo. She has been featured in Huffington Post, The Public and had a 15 page spread in the Buffalo Black Book magazine. She is also the owner of an online vintage boutique with her best friend, and a freelance fashion stylist. Simone says, "I am in school full time studying fashion merchandising. We had four pop up shops this year at 4 different boutiques in Buffalo as well and we just had an award winning filmmaker from Poland travel here just to work with us!" Keep being fashion forward Simone and representing the hard working women here in WNY!

Sarah is a 23-year-old mother of two children, ages 2-years-old and 3-years-old, Jaleel and Jaliyah. Sarah is a full-time Medical Assistant at a pediatric doctor's office in Niagara Falls. As if that wasn't enough, she's also a full-time student, who is 8-months away from graduating with her associates degree in medical management. Sarah says, "As a mother of two toddlers it becomes so hard to remain focused and continue to be someone my babies look up to and be proud of! As a mother and a Black woman, that's my main goal." It might be difficult, but it's worth it Sarah, and that's why we salute you as WNY's Hardest Working Woman!
Meet June 7th's Winner, Gina Patti!!
Gina works as a substitute teacher and a youth counselor at a transitional home for homeless youth. She is also a grad student at Canisius College working towards her school counseling degree. Keep pushing Gina! We salute you for all your hard work!!
Meet May 31st's Winner, Brianna Milon!!!
Brianna Milon is a Buffalo native and full-time student at the College at Brockport, taking 18 credits this semester. She is a Journalism and Broadcasting student. Bri says, "I DJ for the Brockport station, 89.1 The Point where I am also the Programming Director.I also have two other jobs. I am Secretary of the college's Society of -Professional Journalists chapter. I've done all this while maintaining a spot on the Dean's List every semester, except one, since I've been in college." Shouts out you Bri! Keep up the great work!!
Meet May 24th's Winner, Tyleese Stoudymire!!
Tyleese was nominated by her sister, who says "I would like to nominate my sister because I admire her so much. At 23 she helps to take care of her younger sister and their Great Grandmother as well as her 4 month old son. She has 2 full time jobs both in the medical field which she acquired 2 weeks after giving birth requiring her to go back to work 6 weeks earlier than most. She also attends Medaille College full time as a business major. Every single day Tyleese wakes up and hits the the ground running to provide and make sure that her family will be more than ok. This is why I believe she should receive this great award, she has accomplished so much with no acknowledgement."

Carolyn was nominated by her husband Duncan! He says, "Carolyn works as a social worker, helping council people through substance abuse issues. She is also a dedicated mother who loves our 3 beautiful children Destini, Raina, and Elijah. Also, she is working on her Masters in Social work and an active member of the True Bethel Baptist Church Family.
How she balances all the things she does for our family is still a mystery. And a in March she was recognized as a dynamic woman who touches the world by the organization Unlimited Possibilities Overcoming Poverty."

Capresha was nominated by her BFF, who says "I'm nominating my best friend Capresha. She works 3 jobs and goes to school full time. She works for the state helping people with disabilities and she's in the Army. Although she has no children, she volunteers with the Salvation Army and takes care of her elderly grandma every day. She recently just brought a house, which makes number 2 for her! She plans to rent it out. Capresha barely has any free time and the time she does have she spends it at the YMCA volunteering with Autistic individuals. Before the year is up she plans on deploying with the army for a year. Capresha is the hardest woman I know!!" Dang, girl you got a lot going on, but we salute you for managing to do all that good! Keep up the amazing work!!
Meet May 3rd's Winner, Jamilah Miller!!
Jamilah is a single parent to a little boy, a landlord, and blogger! She's been writing encouraging articles over the past 6 months about not being ashamed of setbacks in life and dealing with difficulties that may come our way but to always remain positive and happy. Jam says, "I have been working as a LPN for 10+ yrs. I work at the state college and also work part time as a drug/addictions nurse. Helping those in their weakest state. It's a lot of hard work but I enjoy what I do. I work hard to give myself and my son the best life imaginable and to help serve others!" Well today, we salute you Jam!! Congrats!
