WNY Students hold Forum on Gun Violence [Video]
A student-led forum was held here in Buffalo! Check out the video!
The students came together to address how to end gun violence. Democratic Congressman Brian Higgins and Grand Island Town Supervisor Nate McMurray, a Democrat who is running against Chris Collins for the 27th Congressional District, were there to answer questions, according to WGRZ. The group is named Students for Action.
Unfortunately, Republican politicians did not show up to answer the students' questions. Organizers said to WGRZ, "We reached out to several and we were denied by all, so unfortunately we were unable to have as diverse as a panel as we were hoping to, but it wasn't for lack of trying."
