A WNY man has died in the custody of Cheektowaga Police!
Cheektowaga Police are investigating the death of a 28-year-old male, who died in their custody, according to WGRZ. The man, who was was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by police, allegedly had 39 Oxycodone pills hidden in his sock. Police also say the man also had a bag of a weed in his pocket.

The man, who's name is not being released as of now, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and false personation. Police say they discovered the man bleeding and not breathing during a routine check at 1:00 a.m. Monday. CPR was performed but the man died.
