WNY Company Needs To Hire 100 Employees; Pay Starts Around $45,000 a Year
You may have heard about many businesses struggling to find workers right now. It has gotten so bad that some restaurants looking for workers have had to temporarily close its doors because of the short staffing.
If you're someone who is looking for a new career or know someone who is, then this just might be for you.
WKBW is reporting that a local company called Conversion Monster is looking to hire 100 employees over the next 60 days.
Conversion Monster, like many other businesses, are struggling to find workers. The Buffalo job opportunity would be fielding calls on a daily basis.
The company's purpose is to serve as the line between people looking to buy their homes and real estate agents.
Mike Hobson, Director of Business, Development and Growth at Conversion Monster, says the business has grown 150 percent over the last year and now they need workers to fill positions as quickly as possible.
They need to hire people from Western New York, and the great news is the pay is good -- $45,000 a year, according to Hobson, with room to grow.
The reason for the lack of workers, according to many business owners, is the unemployment benefits, which for many don't expire until September 2021. The actual incentive to work right now isn't there, even though businesses are trying desperately to hire.
In case you missed it, Ted's Hot Dogs was forced to temporarily close its Union Road location in Cheektowaga, because of not having enough workers. Louie's Hot Dog's In Tonawanda is closing after 70 years, with short staffing a major reason.
The restaurant industry has been hurt big time by the lack of workers, but many industries are struggling to hire. If you're looking for a new career, this opportunity in Buffalo looks great. Conversion Monster is located on Seneca Street.
