With cuffing season in full swing, if you haven't already locked down your winter boo, you may still be interviewing a potential body warmer or two to help you get through this long cold winter. If you are, then inevitably you'll need to find a few places to hang out to get to know your possible cuddle candidate.
Western New York has tons of great things that you can do in the middle of winter to pass the time. With tons of arcades, outdoor activities, and sports, there are countless opportunities for you to have fun while spending time with your potential new flurry friend until the spring thaw comes around.
So assuming you have gone out and already found a few people to have out with, make a plan to check out a few of these great places to do on a date:
A Buffalo Bandits Game
If you have never gone to a Buffalo Bandits game, then you are really missing out. Besides being just an overall great time, the Key Bank Center makes a great place to go on a date with good food and drinks. Grab a ticket and check them out.
Ice Skating at Rotary Rink in Fountain Plaza
In its original design, many Buffalonians had hopes that Fountain Plaza would be the Buffalo version of New York's Rockafeller Plaza. There are great activities happening at Fountain Plaza all year long and you can have a lot of fun ice skating in the wintertime. Go lace up some skates and check it out.
Hike The Tift Nature Preserve
This is one of the best hidden gems in Buffalo and you'll be sure to enjoy taking a winter hike through the preserve. Plus it's free to enter and use the preserve so go take a quick walk and have a great time.
Tobogganing At Chestnut Ridge Park
If you're looking for a nice thrill while on a winter date, then you have to check out the 20-foot-high toboggan chutes at Chestnut Ridge Park. You will find yourself zipping down the sled hill pretty fast and it's a lot of fun, so make some plans to check it out.
So give these date ideas a try and hopefully they turn out better than these folks did on some of their dates.
