Where Do You Have Constant Dead Zones or No Service Around WNY?
Senator Chuck Schumer's wants to know where you constantly get dropped calls or some other service issue with your cell phone.
Schumer's office released a report of dead zones in cell coverage all over New York State. Out of all the complaints, about 733 total complaints came in from Western New York –368 for Erie County, 140 for Niagara County, 143 in Cattaraugus and 82 in Chautauqua County.
Verizon had the highest amount of complaints, yet they are also the largest network.
According to WGRZ, Schumer said:
It's not always that they're lacking cell phone towers. They need different frequencies, they need different amounts of energy going into their systems. There are all kinds of technical changes that they can make."
Is there always a constant spot that your cell phone will drop?
