Top Weekend Events For Jan 10-12 In Buffalo and Western New York

It's hard to believe it, but the second weekend of 2025 is upon us, and if you're like me, you may be looking for something to do. While it's a huge sports weekend in Buffalo and Western New York, that's not all that's going on in the 716, as there are usually tons of activities to keep you occupied during your free time.

With all sorts of things to get into that involved fun, food, and family, it's no wonder that, once again, Buffalo is ranked as one of the hottest housing markets in America. It seems that the secret about the 716 is out, and everyone knows what we already know: Buffalo is a great place to work, live, and play.

Not only are our three professional sports teams taking to the field and ice this weekend, there are plenty of family events going on, along with stuff for just us adults.

What's Happening This Weekend?

On the sports front, you have plenty of options to fill your appetite. Of course, perhaps the biggest of those will happen on Sunday when the hometown Buffalo Bills take on the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card round of the 2024-25 NFL Playoffs on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.

BetMGM has given the surging Buffalo Bills the odds to win, with the team being a 9-point favorite over the Broncos. Not only that, Josh Allen is predicted to have a big game with him expected to throw for more than 250 yards.

Of course, if that isn't enough for you, both the Sabres and Bandits are home this weekend, with the Sabres set to play against the Seattle Kraken and the undefeated Bandits set to take on the Toronto Rock.
