Weather Rollercoaster: Weekend Ok, No Improvement Next Week
Spring started out so promising...and then we woke up...was it all a dream or is it just a traditional Buffalo "Spring"?
A look at averages shows daily high temperatures for April in Buffalo generally range from 48 to 61 degrees with daily lows from 33 to 44 degrees...so we're in the ballpark.
Mixed rain/snow showers linger into Friday morning. Raindrops will change to mainly snow on the hills south of Buffalo Friday morning sticking mainly to grassy spots & places of higher elevation. We may even see a few wet flakes mixed with the drops up toward the Buffalo metro with the best chance in the Southtowns and eastern suburbs.
Weekend conditions will improve, a stray shower early Saturday AM will still be possible, but then clouds; sun, with milder temps, take over. There’s a chance of a rain shower Saturday night into early Sunday, though the weekend will be mostly dry.
Rain showers later Tuesday will usher in some unseasonably cool weather for the back half of next week along with another window for a few spring flakes.
