Walden Galleria Will Host Drive-Thru ‘Galleria of Treats’
Good news for trick-or-treaters! The Walden Galleria will hold its annual Halloween event, but it will be a drive-thru version due to COVID-19.
According to WIVB, the drive-thru “Galleria of Treats” will be held on Thursday, October 29, from 2 to 6 pm. Rather than being held indoors, like previous years, since it is now a drive-thru event due to COVID-19, it will take place in the parking garage next to Texas de Brazil restaurant.
Alex Corbelli, the Marketing Director for Walden Galleria, told Channel 4,
“The health and safety of our guests and employees is extremely important to us “This year we’ve come up with an alternative to Galleria of Treats while still being able to provide candy and a trick-or-treating experience for our guests from their safety of their cars.”
You must buy your ticket in advance. You can purchase them online by October 28. Tickets are $5 each and only 500 will be sold, so get yours early, if you plan to participate! The proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society of WNY.
"For every ticket sold, kids will receive one bag filled with assorted store-bought candy, one full sized candy bar from Niagara by Frey Premium Chocolates, and information about local businesses who normally participate in our event." ~ Walden Galleria via Facebook
