If you live in WNY you know snow days is what we actually lived for, the only thing that mattered while attending school. Well, it looks like that will soon become a thing of the past in one school district.

Dont worry it hasn't happened in New York State but a school district in South Carolina is ditching snow days. Instead, the district will require students to do classwork online using their school issued Chromebooks, which don't require internet access. The assignments will be uploaded via Google Classroom.

Students who are having difficulty accessing those assignments or who are too young to have a Chromebook will be given a five-day grace period.

Could this be a possible outcome here in buffalo?

This is just plain cruelty to the next generation of kids. (I can't believe I said that) I must be getting old.
