On Saturday, October 32020, there will be a 'Pop-Up Voter Registration Drive.' The drive will be from 12 noon to 4 pm at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park in Buffalo (near the statue). As the 2020 election quickly approaches, so doe the deadline to get registered to vote. 1199SEIU, Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals, 1199SEIU Health Care Education Project and Greater NY Hospital Association are hosting the event, according to a press release that was emailed to me. The cookout-themed voter registration drive will provide a free lunch of free hot dogs and hamburgers for people who get registered on-site.

If you are not registered to vote top by and fill out a voter registration form. Be sure to bring proper ID. They will also have information on your voting
rights. Music will be provided by our very own DJ Ed Nice. Please remember to bring your mask, as it is required and social distance guidelines will be practiced. Now, more than ever, it is important that we all exercise our right to vote. The future of our country is at stake!
