8 Unsolved Crimes Police In Nassau County Need Help With

1. Unsolved Homicide: Karson Banks
Reward: Up to $25,000
Karson Banks was killed on Monday, October 5, 2020, at 11:21 am on Terrace Avenue near Bedell Street in Hempstead. Police are searching for Ramel Ferguson in connection to the homicide.
2. Unsolved Crime: Grand Larceny
Reward: Up to $5000
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are looking to identify the person pictured above. This subject is wanted in connection to a Grand Larceny that occurred in Hewlett, New York, on July 8, 2024. The suspect followed the victim from Chase Bank, located at 1304 Broadway, and allegedly stole an envelope containing $10,000 from the victim's vehicle.
3. Unsolved Homicide: Thiasia Williams
Reward: Up to $25,000
Thiasia Williams was killed on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at approximately 12:06 am. She was shot to death in her vehicle while parked in front of 79 Martin Luther King Drive in Hempstead. The shots were fired from a white four-door sedan traveling westbound on MLK Drive.
4. Unsolved Crime: Burglary
Reward: Up to $5000
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department need to identify the suspect pictured above. The individual is wanted in connection with two burglaries on on Ambrose Avenue in Malverne, New York, on March 8, 2024. The suspect is described as a white male, between 6’0” and 6’3” tall, with a heavy build. The suspect was driving a newer model, small grey SUV, possibly a Hyundai Tucson.
5. Unsolved Crime: Forcible Touching
Reward: Up to $5000
On July 8, 2024, at approximately 5:10 pm, the suspect touched the victim in an inappropriate sexual manner. The incident happened at Stop and Shop, located at 2160 Merrick Mall in Merrick, NY.
6. Unsolved Homicide: Taleek Smith
Reward: Up to $25,000
Taleek Smith was killed on April 26, 2020, at approximately 12:19 am. He was seated in a parked car on Olsen Place in Hempstead.
