Tyler Perry Is Hollywood’s Highest Paid Man, Courtesy of the $130 Million He Makes

Tyler Perry’s phenomenal success shows no sign of waning anytime soon. On top of his other accomplishments, it was recently announced that the multi-hyphenate was the highest paid man in entertainment.

So, just how much money do you have to make to be considered the highest paid man? Try $130 million. That’s how much Perry earned between May 2010 and May 2011, which places him atop the list of highest-earning men in entertainment for that time period.

No one can say the man doesn’t work for his money. Over the past two years, Perry has written, produced, directed and/or starred in five films and two TV series.

Perry also made history when he became the first African-American to launch and own a film and TV studio.
