People all over the nation held their breath after star quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa, was helped off the field after a hit he received resulted in what appears to be another concussion for him.

During a third-quarter play that had Tua scrambling to reach a first down, Tagovailoa dove head first and ran right into a tackle from Damar Hamlin, which left the quarterback laid out with his hands scrunched up and his arms in the air.

Players immediately called for team trainers to come on the field, as Tagovailoa could not get up. Now, while Tua was able to get up and walk off the field under his own power, it was apparent to everyone that he had taken a hard hit and likely suffered three concussions over the last two years.

As medical officials and the Miami Dolpins' team doctors continue to evaluate Tua Tagovailoa's condition as part of the NFL's concussion protocol, members of the Buffalo community and Bills Mafia fans have once again done what they usually do: opened up their hearts and wallets to support the player.

According to ESPN, members of the Bills Mafia have donated nearly $20,000 to The Tua Foundation, the quarterback's nonprofit charity dedicated to supporting youth initiatives, health and wellness, and other charitable causes.
