Trot Inside Jaw Dropping $100 Million Equestrian Estate in New York
Trot inside what looks like a place out of the movies, or your wildest dreams. There's a jaw dropping $100 million equestrian estate, that sits on 740 acres in Westchester County, you have to see to believe.
The gated property in Granite Springs, New York has a winding path leading to a home, that from the outside looks like any other mansion. But step inside to see how the other half lives. It features more rooms spread over 24,000 square feet than you can count including a solarium, parlor, butler's pantry, 2,200 bottle wine cellar, tasting room, game room, pub, 8 bedrooms, 8 full bathrooms and 4 half baths, 9 fireplaces, an elevator and two story library with leather floors. Who has leather floors?
If that's not grand enough, there's a colonnade (whatever that is), that leads to a 4,000 square foot pavilion with a 60 foot heated pool, jacuzzi, fireplace, gym, sauna, kitchen and changing rooms.
Outside, the property has apple orchards, French gardens, a koi pond and a butterfly house.
Then there's the horses. Stonewall Farm has produced winners of 40 stakes races with horses that have run in the Kentucky Derby and the Breeders' Cup. Westchester's largest equestrian estate has a 40 stall yearling bar, two 24 stall broodmare barns, a turf racetrack and riding trails, paddocks with run-in sheds, a guest house and additional housing.
No word on whether the horses come with the estate. But for the $100 million asking price, it should include everything, and the kitchen sink, which probably costs more than most people's mortgage.
Take a look inside the jaw dropping equestrian estate to see how the other half lives.
