
Travel Advisory Issued For Buffalo, Up To 5 Inches Of Snow
A Travel Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Buffalo. The winter weather advisory covers Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Northern Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, and Southern Erie Counties. It includes the cities of Niagara Falls, Medina, Rochester, Buffalo, Batavia, Warsaw, Geneseo, Orchard Park, and Springville. It was issued at 3:46 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2025, and is in effect until 10 am on Sunday, February 9.

The total snow accumulation is expected to be between 3 to 5 inches. Travel will potentially be unsafe due to snow-covered, slippery roads and reduced visibility. If travel is absolutely necessary, slow down and be cautious. The City of Buffalo sent out a text alert warning residents that widespread snow will fall in Buffalo tonight through tomorrow.
