The Board of Directors for the Toronto Caribbean Carnival have announced that the 2020 festival is cancelled. The festival was supposed to take place from Thursday, July 30th through Sunday, August 2nd 2020.

According to a statement released on Wednesday (April 8), the festival felt it was the best choice.

"The Board of Directors of the Festival Management Committee has decided that due to the continued developments concerning the spread of COVID-19, the severe public health threat, and global health crisis, the month-long events held in July-August is cancelled.” ~ Toronto Caribbean Carnival statement
