In the "before times," we had to worry about our wallets getting picked or purses getting snatched. But now, we need to worry about cyber criminals and digital scammers. There are pros and cons to having our money as digital currency versus cash. One of the cons is that instead of having to come in physical contact with us, our car, or our property to steal our money, criminals nowadays can simply hack or scam their way into our accounts.

Most of us try to create passwords that are easy for us to remember, right? I mean, as adults, we have so many things going on, who wants to get locked out of their own accounts because they cannot remember their password? But with easy-to-remember passwords comes hackability.

ABC analyzed data from a company named Have I Been Pwned? to determine the pin numbers that are the easiest to hack. If you see your pin number among the top 50, especially in the top 10, you may want to consider changing is ASAP. We use PINs for our debit cards, as well as for online accounts, our cell phones, and many other things that we absolutely don't want criminals to access.

As you'll notice below, many of the most popular pins have repeating number sequences or are years of birth.
